Nearby, other lodging options around the heart of Carmel include the colonial-style Dolphin Inn, and the four-star Carriage House Inn, a romantic hotel favored for weekend breaks and honeymoons.
Outside of the town center itself, further hotels present themselves along the Carmel Valley Road, such as the very tranquil Laureles Lodge, and the Bernardus Lodge, which lies within the Bernardus Winery itself. For accommodation close to the coastline, considering staying at the historic Highlands Inn on the Highland Drive, or at the Sandpiper Inn on the Bay View Avenue, which is literally a few minutes walk from Carmel's sandy beachfront.
